Midnight

So what did we think about Midnight?

I think it has to be in contention with the scariest episode of all four series so far which had to be Blink in series 3. It was a Doctor Who Thriller.

Not much happened in the way of time travel/running/sonicy screwdrivery/ ness but you got a sense of how real it was. It showed how people react when faced with the fact that if they want to stay alive then they may actually kill somebody/people. Be it the Doctor or not. I have to say, I would hate to be in that kind of situation.

It was also nice to see a sort of old face returning to the screen. David Troughton (Professor Hobbs I believe was his name) is in fact the son of Patrick Troughton (Second Doctor [forgive me if I'm wrong. I was brought up with Christopher Eccleston and Mr Tennant so am not entirely sure about the order in the classic series]. He is the second offspring off a past Doctor to appear in a Doctor Who episode, the first of whom being Georgia Moffat who played Jenny in The Doctor's Daughter, who is the daughter of Peter Davison (number 5) who coincidently starred along side David in The Doctor Who special Time Crash [It's like one big happy family isn't it?]

Also, loved the vision of Rose on the screen behind the Doctor in the capsule, although how she managed it is waaaaay beyond me. Why didn't he just turn around??? *shakes head ponderously*

So, am waiting desperately for next Saturday to arrive so I can annoy whoever wants to watch Doctor Who at a friends house because their having a Barbecue. =]
