and well, let's face it 'The Stolen Earth' pretty much does give the whole thing away...
Synopsis
The Doctor's secret army of allies comes together to defend the Earth from the new Dalek Empire. With battles raging on the streets and in the sky, the Doctor and Donna confront the Shadow Proclamation to find the truth; however, a fearsome old enemy waits in the shadows.
This is also marks the reunion between the Doctor and Rose, right at the very end, as said by Russell T Davies [see interview].
Rumours
- This episode is set to feature DAVROS. [we know it's Daleks, and there have been pictures of a new and improved Davros circulating the Internet]
- Captain Jack, Martha Jones, Sarah Jane Smith and K9 [Yayness at k9] have all rumoured to be returning [there are pictures of everyone of them except k9 =[ ]
- Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones may also appear when Captain Jack is reuinted with the Doctor
- Daleks invade UNIT
- A red Dalek appears [Pictures On Youtube Confirm this]
- Harriet Jones makes a return [either inside a normal Dalek or inside the Red Dalek]
- The Ninth/Eight Regeneration is explained [This could be interesting]
- Gallifrey is restored. [Most liklely because RTD wants to undo all that he's done to allow the new producer (Stephen Moffat) for more storylines. Or something like that]
- The Sontarans return and start a war with the Daleks [Commander Harris (he was hypnotised by the Sontarans in Episode 4/5 and was thought to have been shot, but he is in the 'Next Time' trailer for Turn Left. [NOTE: we didn't actually see Harris getting shot. We just naturally assumed he was because he wasn't needed]
- The TARDIS is on fire [This was confirmed in the Series trailer]
Also. Richard Dawkins is featuring in this episode as him self. Richard Dawkins is the husband Of Lalla Ward, who coincidently played Romana II in the classic series.
